¶ JMK Freeskate Hardware
The flagship JMK Freeskate setup consists of two completely independent, unattached skates. Each individual skate is modular and constructed from a standard set of interchangeable components.
¶ Part Overview
Every skate is built using the following core parts:
Decks: The top platform where the rider's foot rests.
Trucks: The metal frame housing the wheels and anchoring them to the deck.
Wheels: Two wheels per skate, designed for carving and maintaining momentum. you can choose beetween proformance and classic wheels
Custom Bearings: Specialized custom bearings that cant simply be replaced by standard bearings.
Grip Tape: Applied to the deck surface to ensure secure, slip-resistant foot placement.
Hardware: Screws and mounting components holding the entire assembly together.
¶ Customization & Styling
Depending on the specific package or version purchased, riders can customize the color of the grip tape, deck, wheels, and trucks individually for each of the two skates. This allows for highly personalized, asymmetrical colorways.

Self-Assembly: Out of the box, JMK setups do not arrive pre-assembled. Riders receive the raw components and must assemble the skates themselves. This ensures that every skater understands the structural anatomy of their hardware from day one.
Fully Modular Replacement: Every single component of a JMK freeskate can be purchased individually as a standalone accessory or replacement part. This eliminates the need to buy a whole new set if a single piece wears out and makes custom hybrid setups easy to build.
